Firstack offers two ASIC solution types: (1) Standard ASICs - Pre-designed, configurable gate driver ASICs available off-the-shelf. Programmable features via external configuration. Lower NRE, faster time-to-market

(2) Custom ASICs - Fully custom designs tailored to specific requirements. Optimized for your exact application with unique features. Higher NRE but lowest per-unit cost at volume. Choose standard for quick deployment and moderate volumes (>10K/year). Choose custom for highest volumes (>100K/year) requiring unique features.

What devices are Firstack ASICs optimized for?

Firstack ASICs are optimized for next-generation wide bandgap devices: (1) SiC MOSFETs - Optimized for +15V/-3V to -5V gate drive, fast switching, and robust short-circuit protection

(2) GaN HEMTs - Designed for 5V gate drive, ultra-fast switching, and low inductance

(3) High-Speed IGBTs - Supporting switching frequencies up to 100kHz. The ASICs include features specifically designed for each device type including appropriate protection thresholds, gate voltage levels, and switching optimization.
