For high-vibration environments (near large motors, compressors, mobile equipment): 1) Check vibration specifications - Look for sensors rated to IEC 60068-2-6 (sinusoidal vibration) and IEC 60068-2-27 (shock)

DIN rail versions enable quick installation and removal. Consider: Available space, accessibility for maintenance, heat dissipation needs, and vibration requirements when selecting mounting style. Many LEM sensors are available in multiple mounting configurations with the same electrical specifications.

For control panel installations, DIN rail mounting (HAIS series) offers the easiest installation and maintenance. For retrofit applications, split-core sensors (HTFS series) allow installation without disconnecting conductors. For high-current busbar applications, panel mount with direct busbar attachment is best.

Standard LEM industrial sensors are designed for indoor control panel mounting with IP20 protection. For outdoor or harsh environment operation: 1) Enclosure required - Install in NEMA 4/4X or IP65+ rated enclosure
