How do I select the right Longsys embedded storage for my application?

Selecting the right Longsys embedded storage requires understanding your application requirements. For smartphones and tablets, UFS provides the highest performance with sequential read speeds up to 2100MB/s. For cost-sensitive applications, eMMC 5.1 offers excellent value with read speeds up to 400MB/s. For automotive applications, select AEC-Q100 qualified products with wide temperature range (-40°C to +105°C). Consider capacity requirements, interface compatibility, endurance (TBW), and operating temperature range. Longsys provides detailed datasheets and application notes to guide your selection process.

What is the difference between consumer-grade and industrial-grade SSDs?

Consumer-grade SSDs are designed for typical consumer applications with standard operating temperature ranges (0°C to 70°C) and moderate endurance ratings. Industrial-grade SSDs feature wider operating temperature ranges (-40°C to +85°C), higher endurance (higher TBW ratings), power loss protection, and enhanced data retention. Industrial SSDs also undergo more stringent testing for reliability in harsh environments. Longsys offers both grades to match specific application requirements and cost targets.

Select consumer-grade for standard applications, industrial-grade for harsh environments and mission-critical systems.
