What is included on Espressif DevKit boards?

Official Espressif DevKit boards include: ESP32 module (WROOM, MINI, or C3 depending on variant). USB-to-UART bridge (CP2102 or CH340) for programming and serial output. 5V to 3.3V voltage regulator (AMS1117 or similar). EN (reset) and BOOT buttons for entering download mode. What is the difference between DevKitC and DevKitM?

DevKitC is larger (55x29mm) while DevKitM is more compact (48x27mm). Both include the same USB-to-UART bridge, voltage regulator, and basic peripherals. DevKitC is better for projects requiring many GPIOs. DevKitM is ideal for prototyping space-constrained designs. Both support the same software development tools and frameworks.

Do I need additional hardware to start developing?
