How do I select the right Linsimicro data converter for my application?

Selecting the right data converter depends on resolution requirements, sampling rate, and application type. For high-speed data acquisition, choose SAR ADCs with 12-16 bit resolution and sampling rates up to 1 MSPS. For precision measurement applications, select sigma-delta ADCs with 16-24 bit resolution. For control systems and waveform generation, use high-resolution DACs. Consider interface type (SPI or I2C), temperature range, and package options when making your selection.

Define your resolution and speed requirements first, then select the appropriate converter type. Contact our FAE team for detailed selection guidance.

What is the difference between industrial-grade and automotive-grade Linsimicro products?

Industrial-grade Linsimicro products are qualified for -40°C to +85°C operation and meet industrial reliability standards. Automotive-grade products are AEC-Q100 qualified with enhanced reliability testing, wider temperature ranges (-40°C to +125°C or -40°C to +150°C), and comprehensive documentation for automotive applications. Both grades offer excellent performance, but automotive-grade is required for vehicle applications.

Select automotive-grade for vehicle applications requiring AEC-Q100. Choose industrial-grade for factory automation and general industrial use.
