Aishi Snap-in Capacitors

Snap-in capacitors are designed for high-power applications requiring large capacitance values (1,000uF to 100,000uF) and high ripple current capability. Common applications include switch-mode power supplies, LED drivers, inverters, welding equipment, and industrial motor drives. The snap-in terminals provide secure PCB mounting for high-vibration environments.

Use snap-in capacitors for power supplies above 100W, applications requiring capacitance above 1,000uF, and high-vibration industrial environments.

SN series is the standard snap-in capacitor for general power supply applications. SH series offers higher temperature ratings (up to 105C) for demanding thermal environments. SL series provides extended lifetime ratings (up to 20,000 hours) for maintenance-free operation.

Use SN series for standard power supplies. Use SH series for high-temperature applications. Use SL series for long-lifetime requirements.

Standard snap-in capacitors are rated for 2,000 to 20,000 hours depending on series and temperature rating. SN series: 2,000-5,000 hours at 85C. SH series: 5,000-10,000 hours at 105C. SL series: 10,000-20,000 hours at 105C. Lifetime can be extended significantly with proper derating.

For extended lifetime, select SL series and operate at lower temperatures with voltage derating.

Snap-in capacitors offer high ripple current capability ranging from 2A to 20A depending on capacitance, voltage, and case size. Larger cases and higher capacitance values provide higher ripple current ratings. The ripple current capability is essential for handling the switching currents in power supply applications.
