"The PSD1612 is my go-to recommendation for multi-channel analog output applications. The 16-bit resolution provides excellent control precision, and the 10μs settling time is fast enough for most industrial control loops. I particularly like the high drive capability - the 10mA output can directly drive many loads without external buffers. The internal reference simplifies design and reduces component count. I've used this DAC in process control systems where it generates setpoints for multiple control loops. The SPI interface makes it easy to integrate with modern microcontrollers."
