AEC-Q100 Grade 1 suitable for all automotive motor control including under-hood applications.

LKS32AT series supports key automotive communication protocols: (1) LIN (Local Interconnect Network) - LIN 2.x compliant with automatic baud rate detection and address recognition, integrated LIN PHY in AT037/AT039

(2) CAN (Controller Area Network) - CAN 2.0B support for higher bandwidth communication

(3) UART - multiple UARTs for diagnostic and debug

(4) SPI/I2C - for sensor and peripheral communication. The integrated LIN PHY in AT037/AT039 eliminates external transceiver chips, reducing BOM cost. LIN is widely used in automotive body electronics for door modules, seat control, and HVAC. CAN is used for powertrain and chassis systems.

AT037/AT039 have integrated LIN PHY. Use AT085/AT086 for CAN applications.

LKS32AT series includes comprehensive automotive safety features: (1) Watchdog Timer - independent watchdog for system monitoring

(2) Clock Monitor - detects clock failure and switches to backup

(3) Voltage Monitor - brown-out detection and overvoltage protection

(4) Temperature Sensor - internal die temperature monitoring

(5) Memory Protection - write protection and ECC on Flash

(6) Fault Input - dedicated hardware fault input for external safety signals

(7) Diagnostic Coverage - extensive self-test capabilities. These features support ASIL requirements for functional safety. The MCUs also include fault injection capabilities for safety system testing during development.

LKS32AT series offers various gate driver integration: (1) AT037/AT039 - 4-phase half-bridge driver with 0.5A source/sink, suitable for small motors up to 2A phase current

(2) AT086 - 6N gate driver with 1.2A source/1.5A sink, supports larger motors up to 20A phase current

(3) AT085 - no integrated driver, use external gate driver for flexibility

(4) Protection features - all drivers include overcurrent protection, shoot-through prevention, and undervoltage lockout. The integrated drivers reduce PCB size and simplify design. For high-power applications, the AT086's 6N driver provides sufficient drive capability for most automotive motors.
