Description
The DSEP60-12A is an ultra-fast recovery diode featuring 1200V reverse voltage and 25ns reverse recovery time. Designed for high-voltage, high-frequency applications where minimal switching losses are critical.
The ultra-fast recovery with soft switching characteristics minimizes voltage overshoots and EMI in high-voltage circuits. The 1.4V forward voltage drop provides good efficiency despite the ultra-fast recovery.
Ideal for snubber circuits, high-voltage PFC, and critical high-frequency rectification applications requiring 1200V capability.

"The DSEP60-12A is my choice for high-voltage ultra-fast applications. The 25ns trr with ultra-soft recovery is excellent for snubbers and high-voltage PFC. I've used these in 380V PFC circuits, solar inverters, and high-voltage SMPS. The 1200V rating provides good margin for 380-480V systems. While Vf is slightly higher than standard fast diodes, the reduced switching losses more than compensate in high-frequency applications. The soft recovery really helps minimize voltage spikes in inductive circuits. For snubber applications, the low Qrr (65nC) minimizes energy loss. A premium diode for demanding high-voltage applications."
