FAE Expert Insights
"The SGM2028 is my go-to LDO for noise-sensitive applications. The 70dB PSRR at 1kHz effectively rejects switching noise from upstream DC-DC converters. The low output noise (30uVrms) is excellent for powering precision analog circuits. I have used this part in audio codec power supplies and RF circuits with excellent results. The 300mA current capability is sufficient for most analog subsystems. For best noise performance, add a small ceramic capacitor (0.01uF) on the bypass pin."
