BridgeSwitch-2 dual driver with two 600V half-bridges for multi-motor or full-bridge applications

Product Overview

Description

The BRD2265C is a dual half-bridge device from the BridgeSwitch-2 family, integrating two independent half-bridges in a single package.

This IC is ideal for applications requiring two motors or full-bridge (H-bridge) configurations, such as dual-fan systems or bidirectional motor drives.

Each half-bridge features the same 600V FREDFETs with 6.5A RMS capability as the single BRD1265C, providing flexibility for various motor configurations.

"The BRD2265C is a game-changer for multi-motor applications. Having two half-bridges in one package saves significant PCB area and simplifies layout. I recently used this in a dual-fan HVAC controller where space was tight. The performance matches the single-channel BRD1265C, so there's no compromise. For bidirectional motor drives, this device provides a complete H-bridge in one package. The integrated features per channel remain the same - independent bootstrap, sensing, and protection. If your application needs two motors or bidirectional control, this dual device is more cost-effective and compact than using two single devices."
