The CS5081 is a high-current synchronous buck converter delivering up to 2A output current. It shares the same excellent features as the CS5080 with increased current capability for more demanding applications.
The 1MHz switching frequency and synchronous rectification provide high efficiency up to 94% while maintaining compact solution size. Automatic mode switching optimizes efficiency across the load range.
Comprehensive protection features ensure reliable operation under all conditions. The SOT23-5 package provides an excellent power-to-size ratio for portable electronics.

The efficiency remains high even at 2A output, with minimal heat generation.
